Is this true?

Did Ford use a different Head Gasket and Head Bolt combination in late '05 and up 6.0's then earlier models?

They used a thicker gasket and a different torque pattern I believe. Same bolts though. And they also lessen the tolerance for "warped" heads to .002 from .005.
