Newbie to Powerstrokes

As the thread says, new. I just bought [2weeks old to me] an 06 F250 4x4 diesel xtracab. She's bone stock, at least to I figure out which mods to make. I was told about this place by 'PainTrain' on SVT Performance so if I screw up well, I had help. I've been told to use an AFE intake over the K&N setup due to better filtration but that's about the only mod I'm sure of. I paid $29,990 for the truck and added the extended warranty so I can't use a programmer. So, what do you guy's reccommend for an as quiet as the factory exhaust upgrade? The thing doesn't need to be louder just faster and more efficient. If you have anymore reccommendations please post them too. I plan on putting some better tires on in 10,000 or so. Probably some BFG ALT or mud tires. She won't go mudding but I like her to be ready.

I don't think it's possible to upgrade the exhaust without making it louder. Besides, exhaust doesn't add any noticable horsepower. I suggest a coolant filter. Stock filter is just fine.
