clicking when steering
Starting this morning, there is a clicking sound coming from my steering column when I turn the wheel either way. I checked the steering fluid and it doesnt seem low enough to cause problems. Any ideas?

More that likely the slide contact, (clock spring to some) behind the steering wheel. This is pretty much a plastic disc with a tape inside that provides power to the air bag in the steering wheel. They use this so the wiring doesn't move when turning the wheel. Without the clock spring, the wires could break causing an airbag failure. Then noise you are hearing is from the two pieces of the disc rubbing together. This will not cause a problem, just annoying. You could have it replaced but it will eventually do the same thing. Type: "Air bag clock spring photo" into google and you will get three pictures at the top showing you what the part looks like. Hope this helps.

No problem. If you look at the pictures you will understand it even more, unless you already looked. Have a good one!
