Weld EGR valve?
Has anyone welded their EGR valve shut when putting the blockoff plates in?

|
There are a few guys running a welded EGR valve. It doesn't seem to present a problem as long as you are running a tuner that ignores the EGR function. Otherwise you will potentially set a check engine light (MIL to you yota guys) on some models.

Thanks, my friend is putting the blockoff plates in, but they dont block off 100%.
