Extended Warranty To Buy or not To Buy?

Got an 05 that 6.0 that has given no real trouble, runs fine with 23000 miles on it. I have a chance to get a no deductable, 7 year 75000 mile Ford warranty extension for 2600 bucks. Should I get it or have I gone through the "test time " allready? I would have to put it on the credit card though, and would rather not. Is this a good investment? Thanks for any and all opinions! By the way, the stations around here got diesel up to 4.09 a gallon now! Makes the V 10 look economical!

Is it through Ford motor company? If it is thats a pretty good price and certainly worth looking at! Its up to you though as you say you would have to put it on credit so you have to factor in what its really going to cost and is it worth it

That actually is a good price as I paid 1400 for a 2 year 24,000 mile extension with a 100 dollar deductable.

Thanks, It is the Ford ESP through a dealer who sells them on the internet, local dealers want 3200 bucks. I was told Ford offers a Diesel package a little cheaper, but the ESP should take care of things like the tranny and other stuff like the unit bearings and the 6 disc changer that friends have had replaced.
