What is this plug?

I had my dash off running my wires for my XM and found this harness. It is plugged into a dummy plug on the back of the part of the dash you take off from around the radio.

Obviously it's not used on my tuck... just curious what it is...

I think that might be for a trailer brake controller.

Nope,

Trailer brake controller is already plugged in to the harness.

Maybe something for the 4wd models? mine is a 2wd

I guess if I paid a little more attention I would have noticed your brake controller in the pic.

I dunno... I don't have anything there. The dummy plug is actually on the removable dash piece though so it looks like it would be next to the fan switch area.

I'm trying to upload another pic but my connection is painfully slow tonight for some odd reason.

edit... ok pic uploaded. Here is the back side of the dash where the dummy plug is. (the dash cover is upside down in this pic)

I'm gonna go with the power rear window switch if it's not the 4x4.

It could be for adjustable pedals, 4x4, or power rear window. Not sure. That is what I have right off the top of my head though.

Well my 4x4 and power window switch are next to each other right where you are talking about and my pedal adjust is on the other side of the steering wheel on an 05.
