Need a 6.0 CCV Mod Write-Up

I have done a search on the forum and google and can't find a good write-up on doing the CCV mod on a 6.0. Anyone got a link to a good 6.0 CCV write-up with pics?

I did the High Idle Mod and the ZooDad Intake Mod(w/mesh screen) myself thanks to write-ups on this site. I really wanted to do the CCV mod this weekend but looks like I'll have to wait another week. Can anyone help me out on this?

i would run the hose to the back of the cab because it kinda smells and it will get in your cab if you have the windows down or something..

I don't like this mod... I'd add a air/liquid seperator or a "catch can" to it. and then you can drain it.

That's what I have planned. This mod shouldn't take long and all I need to buy is some hose.

What is the CCV mod? What does it do? What is the air/liquid seperator/catch can option and how does that work?

I did the CCV and Fog Light Over Ride mods today and only spent $6!!! I only ran the hose to under the front door area sticking out of the frame as shown in the link with the write-up. This way I don't risk the hose getting clogged up and causing problems later. I let the truck idle for a while and did not notice any weird smell. It may just be my imagination but, I think I could hear more turbo whistle aswell. Maybe it's because the intake tube is now smoother and it's cleaner air going in. The intake tube was also covered with oil mist so I cleaned it up.

This is a great and inexpensive mod that should be in the "6.0 Mod Help" area of the "6.0 Tech Files" along with the High Idle Mod.
