If you are talking about your hazards, it is called a multi funtion switch. It runs turn signals, brake lights, high and low beams. I fought with the same problem and it is a simple easy fix. the handle that you use for the turn signals and every thing else needs replaced. All you have to do is unbolt the top of the steering colum and there if I remember right 2 more bolts that hold the switch together. Unpug it and ford will have the repacemnt. I spent 2 weeks trying to figure out what was wrong and it took only 10mins to fix.

If this is what is wrong I hope this helped if not disregard everything I have said.

i figured it'd be a relay bad, so what i gather from you is that there isn't a relay its all in the multi function switch/flasher etc. lever and no relay to go out. Thanks for the input

I did the same thing. I chased relays and fuses, and even tested all of the wiring from the lights to the cab. Then some one here goes, there is no relay just the multi switch. I went then fixed it.
