6.0 service question

My dealer sent me a notice of some recommended service. They informed me i needed a fuel injection service. Does anyone know what they do on this service?

I don't know if your dealer is like mine, but I know mine regularly told me that I needed service work done that had nothing to do with my truck. They sent me reminders for all sorts of maintenance that was for gasoline engines and not even on the proper maintenance schedule for a diesel (like oil changes every 3000 miles etc).

I do not believe there is any sort of regular maintenance item for injectors, as far as I know they are pretty well a replace when failure occurs type of device.

I'd refrain from giving your dealer any more money than you really need to
