Stock EGT's?

Hey guys, well I just got done racing a friend of mines old school camaro (I won:burnout) any ways after I got done, I had a flash back to these threads about turbo melt down, so i took it nice and easy all the way home and let it idle in my driveway for a few minutes, just out of paranoia, even though it was like a 15 minute drive home. Anyways what I'm getting at is what is the highest EGT you can reach stock with the pedal to the floor? The only mod I have is a 4 inch turbo back MBRP, no cat. I wouldn't think that it could be very harmful, we only raced to about 55.

i could only hit 900-1000, your fine

about 1000 for me with stock exhaust. with straight pipe you are probably 200 degrees less.
