Fords Warranty?

Well there is something brewing wrong with my truck and I was just checking the warranty is only the 5yr 100k on the motor and only 3yr 36 k on everything else right. I think my transmission is starting to slip a little which upsets me alot because that is why rid of my regular cab. The fluid is a light pink color and doesnt seem burnt at all but I am getting a strong smell from something. I think it is trans fluid but I guess it could be coolant to? Either way my truck is scheduled to go into ford on monday morning, I am hoping I will have time to track down the problem myself before then.

The truck is running good, and it shifts smooth it just doesnt feel like the torque converter is locking up I dont know.

pink fluid means only one thing water contamination or coolant. good trans fluid looks red or light brown. hope this helps.

i didnt know that. im a technician but i have very little experience in diesel s i guess they could be different but as far as my training goes pink is very bad. but in this case the consistency of the fluid could answer his question.
