lookin for a truck
first of all, i wanna congratulate you on having a great site. i have been reading here a few months and finally joined as my truck search has gotten serious. i wanted to ask... what's the majority opinion on oasis reports? is it better to have one with a lot of items that have fixed and addressed or a clean one where there is no history? also, the head bolt issue... will ford replace them before failure? i am looking at 05 and 06 models but really haven't found the right one yet.
thanks brian |

Oasis reports I think are great, they tell you the warrany and repair history. It will also tell you if the truck is still under warranty or has a clear title. Look on trucktrader.com , there are thousands of trucks w/ super low prices if you dont mind driving to pick it up. I just found a 05 F-250 in VA and bought it a week ago, found the truck on truck trader in about 10 minutes of searching. I also was watching trucks on Ebay. |
