Running that tuner YES! Eventually you will need studs installed. I also have an '06 and run the snot outta my rig. Not too worried at the moment! I have 18K on it now

Running ANY power mods...heck, even running stock...you never know.

"Gotta pay to play"...I've had it said to me, and I've said to others. But it is true, we all take a risk to get the power we want outta this rigs.

You want my honest opinion, you should consider getting a SCT programmer tuned with custom tunes for your truck. There is no comparsion to it and "canned" programmers. Custom SCTs is THE way to go for the 6.0s. You can probably ask almost any 6.0 owner on this forum.

If you have any questions regarding the SCTs and/or custom tunes, post 'em up, or you can send me a PM.

For studs you are looking at anywhere from $400-$600 for ARPs and I think upto $900 for the H-11s. Labor to install is what hurts, expect to pay $1500-2000 at a shop that'll know what they are doing.

Make friends with a dealer and or Tech in your local area. If you lived in Dallas I could send you to a teck that will Warrante them for you $100 deductible plus the cost of studs and you are done.

True, but I am always a worse case scenario guy.

That and I wasn't paying attention to what year his rig was, so he should still be under warranty.
