Lucas Oil Stabilizer, anyone else?
I added a quart of the Lucas Synthetic Oil Stabilizer today during my oil change at 54,000 miles. I drive my truck pretty rough and it sees a lot of miles really quick, so I thought it couldn't hurt.
Anyone else using this product? I know I ran a synthetic in a "regular" oil change. It advised me to do so, it specifically said so. Maybe some others have seen the bottles instructions. So I added the quart and we'll see where it goes from here. It can't hurt, just posting to see who else is rockin the Lucas! edit: I took this directly from their site- "In Ford Powerstrokes we suggest one quart of Pure Synthetic Oil Stabilizer per oil change." kind of funny to see such specific instructions. |

The truck i own has had 1 quart of lucas put in it sence it was new . The first owner was a over the road truck driver and he swore by the stuff so i continued useing it. No problems on the oil side. But some people have different thoughts on it. My truck has 94,000 on it.
