Mobil 1 Delvac, where to buy?

Been looking at 5w-40 syn oils. Not many are CJ-4/SM rated. I want to stick with a major brand, not a botique oil. So far only one I've found thats rated is the Mobil 1 delvac ESP. But I can't find anyone who carrys it in my area. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Why is it so hard to find good diesel oil locally at retail places? I was also looking for Castrol Hypuron 15-40 (syn blend). can't find it...

(Yeah I hate Wal-mart too. Not for the political reasons, but just b/c it's to dang packed with people, can't even think in there; very unpleasant. we shop at Target and only do the car/hunting/gun dept at wally).

Often stores can get something transfered in from the other stores.

Yeah, advanced also carries them both. I noticed Shell Rotella has a new synth out has any one tried it?

Del 1 does not stay in our engine like 15-40 does-E450 rv application;'07 6.0-, and I have used Del 1 exclusively since '99, or rather used to until I switched to Amsoil which by the way, is cheaper than Del 1 even with the shipping if you join the preferred customer program for $20.00.

Having said this, contact Mobil on the web and they will direct you to your local distributor who can direct you towards a retailer. Hint, if you claim you are a business, say landscaper, you can scam the stuff for wholesale which is about $2.30 less/qt than the big box stores last I checked.

Double hint, Mobil truck and suv oil is the exact same stuff-this direct from Mobil.

Triple hint, go to your local Freightliner dealer, they probably have it and the price is going to be less than Wal Mart by alot

Very slight oil consumption with the 5-40 as compared to 15-40. What has me a bit concerned is that the minor consumption occurred during the cool-cold weather so I am positively going back to the 15-40-(Amsoil) ,weight. Its interesting as some here post no issues with a 5-40 but ours seems to have a small thirst for the stuff, about a qt in 3500 miles.
