12" subs
I have 2 Kicker 12" subs im trying to fit in my truck. Its an 04 with power back glass. I have taken measurments and it seems like it might work, but its gonna be tight. Has anyone else gotten 12's to fit behind the back seat?

dont think its possible with the power back glass. I have had some trouble just getting my 10's in without a power slider. Im sure it can be done though if you want to do enough custimizing. You may sacrifice having enough air space which will take a way from the overall sound though.

There's enough room to get the shallow mount Kicker 12s in there, but the airspace is a little on the small side for them. It will work, but you won't get as deep bass out of them.
If you've got any other Kickers but the shallow ones, there's no way. You have 4 3/4" of depth at the most unless you redrill the seat mounts and move it forward. |

Here's the stepped box we built for my cousin's 05 for 4-8s. As you can see, if you put them to the right, there is enough space for 2-10s or 2-12s.
Mine is the same. I just don't have the stair steps since I don't have the power rear window. |

i have (1) 12 inch Kicker comp VR sub in my crew cab 6.0L...my dad and i made the box. sounds great no problems. it is tight but i can fold down the seat no problem...if the slider glass goes down behind the seat in your truck more than likely it is not possible. good luck!
