I own a freight train!

I just started up my rig, it's 19* out. Forgot to plug it in last night, it started up no problem. But when it started, we had about as much white smoke as the California wild fires a few months back, and the whole darn thing was chugging and shaking like a train! I like to see it as my morning "big cam" mod!

don't mind the white smoke, it's because of my tune. I just thought it was funny- I wanna tape it... maybe it's just early and anything makes me laugh, but I thought it was quite funny!

I thought you meant that you added train horns... I was wondering what the added weight was gonna do to your track times! HAHAHAHA...

same thing happens to me. i didnt think my truck could smoke that much, lol. i must need a re-flash because my wont hardly start in the morning if it isnt plugged in. and when the rpm's pick up after i finally get it started it often bogs down and cuts off. i just keep the truck plugged in anytime i can, fires right up.

I haven't been in cold weather with the Longhorn yet but my Dodge does teh same thing. It just has to run a little while to some heat in the cylinder heads so it will fire better.

Nate, I knew you'd forget sometime to plug it in after we installed your heater cord. Figures it was on one of the coldest mornings we've had since the install!

Yeah, Big Duke is pretty grouchy when he's cold and first wakes up, if I haven't used the block heater. Blows smoke, growls and rattles, and just doesn't want to get moving.

Come to think of it, that's pretty much how I am on cold mornings. Wonder if I could find a block heater for myself?

I forgot to tie mine up yesterday morning, and it was 2* with a wind chill of -15*... I still drive my Xtreme race file daily and when she cranked up I about choked out my next door neighbor who was out in the front yard with his dog...
