does sct livwire suck??

I see alot of guys here saying how great the sct is... are they talking about the livewire or another programmer?? my truck kinda sucks with the livewire. I've towed with it stock and with the wire, and it seems like it tows better stock than with the wire... also when I open the truck up on the normal street tune there is more power and a little black smoke which is always cool but the trannie acts funny it lets go sometimes before kicking into the next gear..kinda like it goes 3rrrrrrdNUETRAL4thhhhhh,.hmmmmm what do you guys think? dump the livewire for a diablo sport or different kind of sct or superchip or what? any help would be greatly apprieciated...oh and the truck runs fine stock nice and healthy just kinda on the slow side. 03 6.0 f250 10 inch lift on 37s if that helps too.

Are you running custom tunes or the stock livewire ones?

I would bet the caned files. if you are ditch them and get custom files.

I am just running the stock files that came with the programmer. btw what are caned files?now if I wanted custom files all I would have to do is call sct? and how much do they charge for custom tunes??

Man you should have ask before you got the sct anywho..elite diesel or djs performance can help you with the custom tunes they are way better from what ive read..

caned files are the files that came on the Livewire. Dj's, Discount powerparts, elite's Dfuser's, Spartendiesel all have some great tunes.
