What do you think?
Just installed a 2.5" tuff country leveling kit (spring pack) on my rig. Took me and my buddy around 3 hours to do. Before install the measurements from the ground to the bottom of the fender well was 38.75" and after install 42.5". So far haven't noticed any change in driving because the trucks supsension has always been stiff.

definitely looks good. that is what I will be downsizing to once my tires are shot. Don't expect a better ride until you get shocks though. even though I did lift my truck it rides better now with the bilsteins then it did stock.

Thanks for the compliment darsey. I'm going get some better pics for my gallery in the next couple of days where I'm on level ground so it doesn't look like I'm nose high. Man, i don't know why you would want to downsize your rig, it's a black beauty.
Also, wasn't really expecting a better ride. I just thought it would feel more stiff then it was, so I'm really happy with it. I have thought about upgrading to bilsteins, but I have a few other mods on the list that I think I would like to do before new shocks. On the list but not sure what order: New Rims stock diameter (tires still have a lot of life on them) 8" width, 4" turbo back exhaust, Gauges, shocks, SCT Custom Tunes (once warranty runs out). I agree with Darcey. That is just enough lift to keep it from looking like a street truck but not so much to make it unusable.

Thanks fellas. ksttac, no, this kit is a set of spring packs that go under the original leaf springs and a track bar relocating bracket. You can view the kit in my garage before install. I researched all the other types of leveling kits but this one was the only one that seemed to come with a new bracket (I don't recall any of the other companies with it) that was in my price range. Didn't want to spend to much since I may swap it out for a 4" at a later time (several years down the road).
