Can a powerstroke sound like a cummins

Can 6.0 be made to sound like a cummins? I have always loved the sound of the older cummins engines. Please dont respond with "Go buy a cummins" This is just a simple knowledge question. And before you ask, yes, I love the Loundness of the cummins. Thanks in advance for humoring me.

I say no. cummins is a larger cylinder and only 6 cylinders our powerstroke have smaller cylinders and 8 cylinders.

First, i don't even know why you would want to make you 6.0 sound like anything other than a 6.0. Such a sexy sound. Secondly, the answer is no. The 6.0 is going to sound like a V8 and it will never sound like an inline 6, no way.

There is nothing like it. Even people that hate fords love the 6.0 sound! To be honest I hate how cummins sound. Too gurgle sounding. Love that V block sound.

Cummins sounds so damn rugged, especially the 12 valve, i love the sound of that 12v 5 speed taking off!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy my 7.3 turbo whistle even more tho

Could always swap in a cummins; just saying.

6.0 has a wider rpm range rather than the down low cummins grunt in my opinion. Personally I like them both.

I love how an older model cummins sounds like a tractor when you're beside it, but any powerstroke sound is hard to beat!

Last night my dad was inside a dollar general and I had pulled in cause I was following him but decided to just goon the house. He said he heard me pull out and all the way till I hit 3rd gear. He said all he could think of was "he's gonna get a ticket on day".... Funny thing is I didn't even get on it, and he was inside the store!

Alli have is a 4.5in straight pipe on my 7.3... The powerstroke sound of any model is hard to beat brother.....
