warranty head studs?

i am interested in getting head studs for my 04 with 61k miles with warranty. what will the dealership charge for that?

Hopefully $100 if you know the right people! I'd make the trip to W-S if I were you.

I think Deere means $100 if your truck is already in the shop for a dealer diagnosed head gasket problem. Noboby is going to do the headstuds for $100 unless they have the heads off for some other reason. If you don't have a head gasket problem already go to Scuffy. Don't forget the parts are another $450-$500

What I meant was that if you are still in warranty and have a good tech that will work with you, you should not have to pay extra for labor. Of course a guy like that is worth his weight in gold and should be given a tip of some sort!

Yes you would need to provide the studs at a cost of somewhere around $500. It sure beats $1800 for labor to have it done privately.
