Question Engine repair

I always wondered, is it bad to have your engine on a SCT tune if they take it apart for repair?

It really depends on the dealer. Anyway you look at it, it can cause you problems with your warranty.

Its getting worked on by a buddy of mine who has a contract with diesels. I just thought it would be bad for my engine by leaving it on the street tune and them taking it apart.
