I just got my sct x3 last week and notice that when going down the highway with the cruise engaged when I tap the brake or press off to disengage it, disengaged kinda firm Ive tried 4 diff tunes all the same result anyone else have this issue or is it normal. I think it could be the torq converter unlocking mabey to save fuel.
There has been some threads about this and it is normal. I have a six speed and it does the same thing. When I kick the cruise off I push on the pedal until I can feel that I have it at the same speed and then kick the cruise off. It is a minor annoyance concidering the extra power.
I thought it was a problem related to my truck. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. It only does it when it's tuned. I do wish they could fix it. It's really annoying.
I think that it's normal. Mine does it when I disengage the cruise control, and it does it when I lift my foot from the accellerator pedal at highway speeds.
Mine done it as well, read some forums on the tuners website, updated tuner, problem solved.
