should I get it?

I am looking at an '04 F350 6.0L PSD crew cab, auto, loaded, 71,000 miles. Honestly it will mostly be a daily driver (I can't drive anything else, it just hasn't felt right since I started sriving diesels), although I use the hell out of the bed. What are your general impressions of this truck (both this specific truck and this year/setup in general? I haven't yet gone in to the dealership to ask what their asking price is, but what would be reasonable?

Yes, I didn't look to see if it had manual hubs (or do they all?).

I haven't yet gone in to inquire about the asking price; I will do that some time tomorrow.

The ones with shift on fly, have manual hubs for backup if you lose vacume.

Get an oasis report on it, if it ckecks out dont hesitate to buy assuming you get the dealer to a price your comfortable with.

an oasis is a report from fords computer about your trucks service and repair history.

So, to get the oasis report, do I just get the VIN and take it to a Ford dealer?

it will vary depending on your state. but on average you can usually pick up an 04' 6.0 crew cab for anywhere between $22k-$30k depending on the edition or any other factors that would make them raise the price. are you buying it from a dealer?

Yes. They are not a Ford dealer, though.
