Anyone have the fun i did in changeing the fuel filter thats located UNDER the drivers door? Allen wrench just fits between the driveshaft to drain filter holder. and then theres the fun of not getting covered with fuel when trying to get cover off of filter houseing.
whos's the boob who put it there anyway? Anyway its done. I would rather do the upper ones all day at least the oill is very easy to do.

Get a flip socket just for that and the Oil & fuel filter on the motor off ebay for around 15-20 bucks. Makes the job much easier...

change it when the truck has 1/4 tank or less park the nose down hill take the allen out let it drain then the fuel filter housing has no fuel in it. One of these days I will take a picture of the 6.0 I work out of its a squirt boom bucket truck with self leveling tie braces all under it. I love to watch our grease monkeys change it I guess I'm just a bit evil.
