Off-hwy diesel in 6.0?

Will our 6.0's run on off-hwy diesel? MPG differences? I know it's illegal, and they can dip a stick your rear (tank!). But just for the sake of knowing, will it run well? anyone doing it?

nearly all off road fuel is the same as on road. just dyed.

now with new epa guide lines there is no longer a difference in on and off road diesel just one is taxed one isnt thats it fuel is the same sulfer and cetane ratings your truck will not notice a difference but the road side inspector will and the fine is steeeeeeppp atleast where i live it is

I used to run off road fuel for 6 mo w/o a problem, they are the same except the dye. But here in PA the fine is like $500/gal(of what your tank holds)-39 gal= way too much $ for me
