6.0 power with a warranty

Hey anybody know how much we can do a 6.0 and still keep it under warranty .I know about removeing aftermarket prograghms before takeing it to the dealer. Thanks

That's a loaded question because it all depends on the dealer you take it to for service. Some will try to void you for an aftermarket intake. Others don't care if you have exhaust, water meth, and a programmer, though those are the exception. Most dealers are somewhere in between.

Ya what I want to do is a K&N and 4 inch turbo back,i have been told if you remove the cat you will get to stare at the check engine lite from then on.Is this true can I get away with this at the dealer? Thanks

03-04 trucks may have an issue. 05-07 trucks don't have CEL issues with those mods. The cat can be easily installed for trips to the Ford doctor.

My brother had an 03 6.0 65k miles 35" tires 3 turbos 1 inner cooler 3 injecters replaced with only turbo back 4" and the K&N air breather kit in it, ran great .And the dealer still fixed without too much crying .I just want to play it wisely

We have all our work trucks 1: 2004 F-350 and 9: 2005-07 F-350's and 6: 2004-07 E-450's all of which have the cat's and mufflers's cutoff and airaid intakes since new it's the first thing we do when we get new one's haven't had one out of the sixteen have anything problems by the exhaust or the air intake. I believe by taking off the CAT and muff the motor and turbo stay cooler and should last longer and yes some dealership's don't like the mods but our mechanic at Ford has the same opinion it can only help the truck no warrenty issue's yet hope this help's.

Thanks my 99 250 ran much better with 4" and the K&N but warranty is long gone no problems at all with 103k miles

my stealership said that an intake would void it but the exhaust was good.. But i stopped going there..now i go to another one and the manager said that my truck looked sick and said it sounds like a jet ..cool guy..but cant get him to do my head studs haha.

The main guy at my dealer and the mechanic go for a ride in my truck,every time its in for a fix.they like it alot lol.They are realistic to a mans needs.
