hello, i bought the 04 f350 2 years ago but i didnt drive it last winter. i put the banks six gun along with 4" exhaust and a volant intake. which improved my mileage, when i drove conservatively i averaged 13-16mpg and maybe 20+ if under 2,000-2500rpm on the highway. well my transmission went out in oct. it sat for about 2 weeks while i gather enough ching to get it fixed , the suncoast way. i got the suncoast extreme rebuild kit plus the shift kit, and all the bells and whistles.(- the bullit shaft) while i was doing this they put a triple disk tq (also suncoast). and hell i figured id go the distance and get a Detroit locker rearend. and i told the place to put full synthetic in everything in, the oil was also do. i told him i previously used mobile one diesel oil so i think thats what he put in it. by the time it got done it was down to low 30 degree weather.. well to tell you the truth i wasent very impressed with the out come i mean i could tell the difference but i maybe expected to much. i was more impressed with the new rear end which is awsome by the way. i then notice a little less mileage about 10.5 in the city,(about 35 degrees out) not hard on it but deffinatly not easy on it after the 500 mile break in. i usally drive with the banks kit on 3-4 most of the time. tranny gets funny when i move it often so i leave it on 3 when its slippery and 4 if not.
? while the past 2 weeks we've had a average high of 5 degrees here in mn. you can tell the truck dosent like starting but shes a trooper and the remote start 9/10 times gets her turned on. while sometimes i jump in it after it warms up and it says like 1.2mpg on the display. after i drive it a min it goes up to about 7.5-8.5mph in the city havent had it on the highway for more than a few yet. the mpg stays the same weather i drive like a grandpa or a kid now.

but it just seems really low what should i do? sorry so long...
