Hello everyone and sorry I'm new and didn't find if this was discussed else ware but here's my problem I have an 03.5 6.0 excursion. I did an egr delete and SCT tunner and cold air. After a couple weeks of running performance tune I started noticing fuel cut so I put it on the 65 tow tune and it ran fine. Its been about two months and on the 65 tune its starting to cut and bad in the cold morning. So I installed a fass 125 yesterday. Turned on the performance tune and still fuel cuts so I think my injectors are bad. So my question is is the fass platinum 125 to small or are the injectors going out. If they are I'm prolly gonna buy 190cc injectors and do I need to do head studs right away or can I hold off til summer. Thanks everyone hope to hear back soon
I wouldn't dropped money on that pump, much less any pump without knowing what's wrong.
It's well documented on here that you need good batteries, good FICM voltage, good oil for your injectors which run off an HEUI system, and good fuel pressure.
The oil temp is a lil bit over half way mark it cuts on mid throttle in the morning and when it reaches operating temp its fine and on the big tune it cuts at wot throttle at operating temp
You can't go by the temp gauges on the dash, means nothing basically.
