Need Help
I installed the block heater cord about 2 months ago and it has worked perfect until now...Every time i plug it in now it kicks the breaker...Does anybody have any ideas...I pluged a t.v. into the same plug to make sure it wasnt that or the cord and it worked fine...My truck just about died when i started it today caus i couldnt plug it in last night...I need help its supose to be in the low 20's here by like thur, high of only 30...I cant craw under the truck and look at the cord cause i have a knee fracture...Thanks In Advance...

does the breaker go immediately? if so, there are some wires touching, kind of hard to do with a bad knee... if you have an electric griddle, place it on some blocks or wood and turn it on low until you can get under to take a look. Worked in Alaska, just make sure it is on low and not too close. It should work as a temporary fix... good luck, hope the knee heals well!!!
