Stock truck with programmer??

Hi Guys, I know this has probably been asked a 1000 times but I couldn't find anything in the archives. Anyway I have a 05 F350 SRW. The only mod so far is the cat delete. I bought a used Hypertech and was wondering what setting I could safely run. I am interested in gas mileage mainly. When I tow its usually about 10000. And also will the zoodad help things out any, I havent heard any hard facts on HP gained from this. Thanks, great forum.

well i wouldn't run any programmer without a set of gauges..... you need them to make sure your not pushing the limits on your engine... you will prob not harm anything with only the hypertech but 300 bucks for gauges is a small price to pay to keep you from blowing a 9k+ engine

you got aftermarket gauges? the stock ones dont read correctly and are pretty much worthless esp the trans... my stocker will always be in normal with my auto meter one reading out anywhere from 110-210 with the stocker never moving....

I have a hypertech....don't know much about the tuners overall but I can tell you this, you will get a crap load more power than you have now with it.....I run mine at full max which is about a 90 hp increase....with the truck MT and cruise on at 69mph, I hit 21 mpg.. that's my input, hope it helps
