tranny fluid idea and questions

i was wondering if anyone has ever made a sump for their tranny fluid. I know you can put on a deeper pan for more capacity to lower temps and a bigger cooler. I would think building an extra container and plumbing it in would give the fluid more time to cool. just a idea. i know there is limited space on these trucks anymore though. while im on the subject does anyone have any ideas on who makes the best tranny cooler for the 6.0. and i am looking at adding a good inline filter to it as well. can you use a amsoil bypass filter for tranny fluid. thanks for any info.
