hey now i bought one...... i did because jegs here in town put em on sale for 19.99 and it cleaned up the hole i had already cut plus it has a duct on it that slides into the factory box so all the air is forced into the box and when i switched to afe i found so duct at lowes that fit it and plumbed it into the afe as well i wouldnt have bought it at there regular price of 39.99 though

Somebody was asking me what that little do-hickey was just a while back. OAT sensor was the consensus, looks like we were right!

I did buy the Air Fury Predator screen. Given, it was at my price from IDP, but I went that route cause of where I work and drive (open fields and trails) and wanted that extra security of protection from debris. Did the install myself, and for the price it was easier than trying to fab up something. It made a nice clean install.
Brant's looks good. Rob (I think that's who made it right?) did a great job!! ![]() And it does make a clean "hidden" install:

Yes Sir - Rob (Rwalker29) HOOKED ME UP!
![]() and Viking - I'd say you'd be safe to do it -- thousands upon thousands of people have done the Zoodad with little to no ill effect. The ones who do have some type of ill effect are the rare cases of a bird flying directly in the grill at a good angle to get into the hole and end up against the filter... but the chances of that happening are very rare! (specially for those of us with 7.3's!) Also, if you look where that whole is cut -- the intake for the air filter dang near buts up against the back of the radiator support, so you would need little if any "ducting" to force the air into the intake. I have none on mine if thats any consolation. Plus, I didn't have a screen for the longest time -- only got the one I did because a fellow member hooked me up - otherwise it'd just be a big hole
