Hi everbody, im new to the forum but had read A LOT before register. Like my title said im from quebec, canada. I live near montreal ( biggest city in quebec ).
I'm an off road enthousiasme and love all diesel motor. I allways had 4x4 trucks. 2 years ago i got my first fullsize truck, '95 f250 7.3 manual, what a beast !! You cant imagine how i beat the f*ck out of this truck without any issue I had a 4 inch straight exhaust and a home made air intake. Had put a brand new clutch, single mass conversion and everythings that comes with. When i installed my 35" all terrain with the 2" wheel spacers the front wheel bearings just went nuts ahah. So i swapped a dana super 60 from a f250 03. After a lot of work on the truck i wanted something more powerfull ans less rusty hehe
So I sold my 7.3 and bought an '07 F350 ccsb, lariat edition with for sure a 6.0L worth the price to see the face of my dodge friend ! I dont know the history of the truck cause it came from alberta. It has 259 000 km on the clock ( around 162k miles ). 100% original, as what i can see. All I know is that the injector # 6 had been changed before i bought the truck.
I have installed a mbrp 3.5" downpipe with 4" rest of the line, no cat, no silenser. I think i have a headgasket problem cause some little coolant is comming off the degas bottle cap. Only on heavy boost or towing situation.
I'm planning to get a xdp or sinister diesel coolant filter real soon and a sct 5015 to see if some thing i cant feel is going wrong. I want the truck to be reliable and burning rubber but before adding power i plan deleting the egr and maby a new oil cooler ? Bigger injector/turbo are in my future list.
