Ordered BPD FICM. What to do with old shell? UPDATE!

Is this 1/2 shell worth anything?

Power supply can be fixed. I just don't have the time and need my truck back on the road.

I'd send it off to be repaired, and keep it for a backup.

You send that sucker in get it fixed up and put it up on the shelf. Because if u do that you will never ever ever...need it. Cheap insurance.

Get it repaired and sell it. No need to keep it around after you have a BPD FICM.

You word ld think since there is so much faith in their ficm they would offer better. Not sure I want to pay $700+ on an ficm with only a 1 year warranty.

Part of me has to agree with this. Maybe not lifetime but more than one year. Gotta have more faith in their product.

While I agree, I can understand their point of view. It is electronics after all...
