**UPDATE**Well.....trans crapped out........Now oil cooler

**UPDATE**....Ford tech called me and said my transmission is fine. The hard shifts are normal until the trans is around 130* that he would not hesitate to drive my truck any where.

NOW.....When I had him on the phone I asked him to check the degas bottle because I thought I had oil in it. He did confirm it was oil and told me he was going to check with the warranty company and call me back......The oil cooler is not covered. He said that since I just bought the truck they would do all of the labor for free, but I have to buy the oil cooler. I would love to go BPD but living paycheck to paycheck I cant. He told me to call Advance Auto that they had an oil cooler for $240

I think my transmission went out. I pulled out of my driveway yesterday and my transmission would not come out of first gear for about 400yds. When it finally did it slammed second so hard it about broke my neck. Then the whole eight minute drive to work it couldnt decide if it wanted to change gears or not.....I didnt think it was shifting right when I bought it so I got them to give me a warranty that they dont usually give. Luckly I still have 400 miles/22 days left on my warranty. I hope they put a new transmission in it so I dont have to worry about it. I dropped it off yesterday, now im just waiting to hear the verdict. Hopefully they dont find a way to give me the shaft.

When I lost mine under warranty they told the dealer (who was doing the work) to totaly look over the truck, " THESE GUY'S HOT ROD THE KRAP OUTTA THESE TRUCKS...". Just stick to your guns. And you'll get a nice clean tranny.

I bought mine with a dieing tranny and didnt know it until I had a trailer on the back. But I got my Oasis report the other day and suprise suprise the truck has had tranny issues from the start- @20256 miles customer states vehicle shifts hard- report sais they "found small traces of sspc b solenoid bore damage replace solenoid" (does not state a filter change or fld change)
@ 22894 customer states shifts hard when down shifting
and no were on the report does it show a fld/filter change...
But what the heck at 102,000 ford put a new tranny in and it dosnt show that either so...

I just bought an OEM replacement to do me for now. Hopefully this will take care of the problem
