Hows it going. Just bought a 03 F-350 FX4 ex. cab with 78,000mi on it a few weeks ago off ebay. This is my first diesel truck, and dont know a lot about it. Been roaming around here for a while and just thought I would say whats up. So far since I got it I have put an SCT x3 from dj's on it, a bullydog intake, and a gauge pod with pricol gauges. So far so good. I spoke to the last owner of the truck and he told me it just got a ton of warrenty repairs within the past 10,000 miles including a new turbo, head gaskets with arp bolts, valve springs, mafs, and a radiator. The truck does have a leveling kit with nitto terra grappler 33's. So far I love this truck! Its powerful as hell. One thing that sucks is that even with the tuner on the economy setting I am getting about 11 mpg. But its worth it.

Yeah I didnt think my mpg would be that bad, but I cant resist but to bury the throttle when the light turns green with the sct.. I hope fuel prices will decline here soon or I wont be able to afford this thing. I have it on the looney setting right now but with the cold settling in im prob. just going to go with the eco tune with a cold fix.

Any of you guys/gals experiment with the sct X3 yet? What tunes do you like? So far I have tried Economy, Street w/cold fix, Street smoke, and looney Not a big fan of the street tune. Wasnt enough boost for city driving, and around in the hills. It was ok for highway though.

to the org. sound like you got your self a good truck. sounds like you have a right foot problem. your truk should be getting high teens on the econo setting.
