How NOT to get your deer

Off topic but this is what I responded to last night here in Maine. Bucky got nailed by a car and spun into this PU ending up in the drivers lap. Driver wasn't hurt and is gonna have some good deer steaks out of the deal!

Crazy!

I am not surprised by this though, where I live it is literally more common for the deer to jump out and hit YOU, then the other way around. I know of more side dents in peoples rides from this happening!!! Where I am at, the deer population is crazy insane... it is nothing to go for a 5 mile drive at dusk and see over 200 head of deer! I have seen more than 600 in one night within 25 miles. There are also some great elk, cougar and antelope populations around here too. You should see the hunters pour into my little town on opening weekend!

Good luck to all the hunters...oh yeah, and dont forget how much easier it is to use the gun

Welcome strokemaster!
Yeah our ranch has WAY too many deer, so we're going to thin them out a bit this year. The only way to keep a healthy deer population is to control the population. UNFORTUNATELY this is opening weekend and I can't go hunting - having to finish up security upgrades on the house.
Oh well, it's a long season.
