Head gasket dilemma????

Ok, here it goes... I bought my 05 6.0 PSD from a private seller in AZ just over a month ago. Had it checked out at Berge Ford in Mesa AZ before purchase. They told me that there was a little bit of oil coming from the oil filter. They said that whoever changed the oil before might not have put the new gasket in with the filter. OK... Drove the truck home, brought it to my trusted mechanic at a local shop for an oil change and they tell me that both of my head gaskets are leaking and change my oil. Took of my SCT tuner a few days ago, bring it to my local Ford Dealership this morning to have my head gaskets replaced under warranty. They called me a few minutes ago and said that my head gaskets are NOT leaking and that it is the gasket on the oil filter??? Now I am a little confused on who is telling me the truth. Not sure if my mechanic maybe just put the wrong filter on, or accidentally damaged the gasket... Or maybe my Ford dealership just doesn't want to mess with my truck??? Hmmmmm

Any smoke, how does it run, is your coolant bottle at the right level, how many miles are on the truck?

I doubt its your headgaskets then, but check your coolant level, but, can you tell were the oil is coming from? You might want to degrease the wghole motor and get it all clean then drive it and try to find your leak.

Oh and the 6.0 doesnt really have an oil filter gasket it has a o-ring on the cap, but you should be able to tell if its comin from there.
