Well after beating the hell out of my truck for an hour no difference that I can tell. I let it idle for ten mins after adding the rev x. After that I jumped on the highway and bright the truck up to 70mph let off the throttle then wot to 90mph prob did that 10 or 12 times. After that parked ran into the store then got some food and drove home felt the same I guess we will see if it made a difference in the morning when I normally have mis when cold.

Just added rev-x

I think it takes a few days to a week to make a difference. I just ordered some for my truck also. I'll be doing the same, only a few days behind. Keep me posted if you see results.

Re: Just added rev-x

I put it in mine and let it idle for about 10 min, during that 10 min I seen nor heard any change. I killed it and let it set for about 10 min and started her back up and let it idle. I could actually hear and see it change as it idled the 2nd time. It was pretty cool to watch. I also used Amsoil 5w-40 in my truck at the time. I used Rev-x for one more oil change then I discovered Archoil. Let me tell you Archoil, in my truck, was the holy grail of oil additives. I didnt have to let it idle the second time. About 20 seconds after starting the truck with the Archoil in it I watched and heard it get better and better, on top of and much more than the Rev-X did. I am seriously thinking about putting it in my 6.7 even though it is a common rail. It is seriously good stuff.

That was my experience with them, just thought that I would share it.

I almost felt like rev x had zero effect but I also had no problems I just did it to clean the engine as preventative maintinence I almost felt like it took longer to start with rev x

I added 8oz of Rev-x once to my 6.0, then 60 miles later my HPOP took a dump.

Re: Just added rev-x

My truck was idleing really rough. I mean the injectors had 191k on them. This was right before I called Warren for some bigger sticks. I continued to use Archoil in my 6.0 until I totaled it.

Common misconception about Rev-X: it does not clean your engine. I believe it is simply a friction modifier, with a solvent built specifically to clean the spool valves in injectors. Archoil 2300 is an engine cleaner. Follow it up with Archoil 9100, and you'll have a happy and very clean engine.
