dj's eco tune
just wanted to let you guys know. if you have the sct and dj's economy tune, it gets great mileage. been runnin it with 2 tanks now and what a difference. i cant tell you exactly what im gettin cause my speedo is way off from my big bolognas but just using my tripometer i can tell. with fuel being as high as it is just wanted give you guys this info. i know you dont get the same power as the other tunes but it aint that bad.

it gave me great mpg as well....power is pretty good for a eco tune...

Yeah, I second that. The old econo tune sucked as far as power, but the new eco tune is great. It feels like it's at least 70 HP or so, and now that I got my truck fixed (no thanks to the idiot Ford techs at my local dealer), I'm seeing over 20 MPG on the road.

4.88s or 5.13s are too much gear for a 38" tire. I have 5.13s in a 550 and it shifts into O/D at 42 mph at WOT. It will only do about 68 mph. The 38" tire isn't that much bigger to make a big difference in those speeds. You would probably max out at 80 mph or less. The 4.56 gears would mach up perfectly with 38" tires.
