Logic side only?
Anybody know where I can get just a 4pin logic side? My ficm is on its way out and I have a spare 4pin power side I got from g2schuck. I haven't pulled mine off yet, going to in next couple hrs, so I dont know if its a 4 or 7 pin so just posting this in case it is a.7 pin.
Thanks Sent from my phone |

Re: Logic side only?
So the dealer is telling me that if I get a new ficm through them that in order for it to work on my truck it has to be flashed along with the pcm. Is this true or can I simply get the new ficm and slap it on without them reflashing anything?
Trying to get this figured out today. Thanks.... Sent from my phone Last edited by DoubleDpsd; 01-17-2013 at 03:35 PM. |

Re: Logic side only?
Ok ok I see why ford is saying it needs to be reflashed bcuz the logic side on the.bnib ficm isnt programmed for my truck. I didnt make it clear to him that I want to split the shell and mate the brand new power side to my already working logic side.
Looks like I get to bite the bullet and have some more down time. 6phase here I come.... let me just check the cc statement ![]() Thanks Tuscany!! Sent from my phone |

u do likely need a re flash or least case issue you will have a code
I would call Bulletproof and see if they would sell u a full Ficm or logic side 4 pin ,, they have tons but their 6 and 4 phase power supply units never come with a logic side |

Re: Logic side only?
Thanks zmang, looks like im gonna go with a bpd 6phase power only side. No more oem bs. I shouldnt need a reflash going with the bpd 6 phase should I? I can deal with a soft code.

Here is a video I took this morning. I didn't notice the voltage was as low as it was when I started it. It wasn't until after it started I noticed the V at 45....uh oh. I wouldn't have noticed any issue without the monitor, it started fine and idled fine and ran fine, even on 20degree mornings. Guess my injectors are in good shape? Don't judge my sweet gauge mount setup,
