Fuel Filter Replacement Period?

I was curious to how often everyone here changes there fuel filters? I was told by a friend of mine to replace it every other oil change or every 3rd oil change..just curious as to you all's input on this.

I would say about every 15k

I agree with Dave use 15k miles as a rule of thumb and replace them both. It only takes about 15 mins to 1/2 hour to do both and it's good insurance. On the frame rail mounted filter be prepared to have diesel fuel spilling down the frame for about 2 feet. Catch as much as you can and make sure you splash some water on the rail afterwards to dilute the fuel that's left.
