About 20 quarts I believe. EDIT: It was about 20 quarts for me b/c of a little flush then fill!!! Very important and I left that out. Sorry 'bout that.

The manual for my '03' says 17.5 quarts including remote filter change for the 5sp Torqshift. Page 279 in my book.

i've changed the fluid in torqshifts a number of timer and never used more than 8.5 quarts, but that is just with removing the drain plug & filter and letting it drain for about three hours(i've never drained the torque converter)

Below is a link to a good HOWTO for the Torqshift fluid change. BTW, I just came back from my local dealer and they want $195 to flush the Torqshift.

Nice find on the write-up! Your dealer's not to far of from mine. They wanted $175 for a flush and fill.
