EXHAUST SYSTEM HELP

Ok, well here's what I want, single 4" turbo back (no cat) w/ muffler.
These are what i'm considering, MBRP, Magnaflow, and RBP.

I'm just lookin' for any opinions you all might have. I don't want it to be too loud at idle / cruising but a little bark is ok when I'm gettin' on it. I know these are all "personal preferences" but I'm just tryin' to get a little input, all my buddies want me to straight pipe it (NOT GOING TO DO THAT)

What do you think???

As long as you keep the muffler the new exhaust won't be much louder then stock inside the cab

i am a fan of mbrp, but i am straight piped so i dont know sound quality and noise levels of any of them.

you're basically straight piping it by removing the cat. I suggest you completely straight pipe it then add on restriction as necessary to satisify your "needs". I think once you straight pipe it you will not add a cat or muffler. keep in mind, these "performance mufflers" are not worth the money, they are basically completely straight through.

yes I have a spare muffler I can sell you I like my MBRP thats all I have experience with so it's pretty biased, I think they sound good with a muffler on them, but they sound a lot better with out IMO

1 more for MBRP... the fit is great on them... install should only take you a couple of hours at the most...

Any of the ones you mentioned are fine.

I noticed a reduction in sound inside the cab when going from 4" muffler to 4" straight pipe. Surely louder outside though.

I got Magnaflow on my truck and love it AFTER it was installed......the down pipe was retarded to install tho!
MBRP exhaust looks good, and from what I've heard the quality is top notch and alot easier to install

4 inch turbo back w/cat delete SS Magna flow here. Install was a breeze once I cut out the stock down pipe. Nice and mellow, quiet in the cab. Once I installed tunes from the sct my neighbor said it sounds like a race car Can't really tell from the inside...........

I got the exact same exhaust....must have been more easier to install on an 03-04 instead of 05. Once that downpipe finally went into place install on the rest was easy and fast. It is really quiet in the cab too! I got the "jet engine" reply tho....that was the whistle sound from the tip on idle tho. I haven't really revved her much to find out what that big sound is like.
