Best Tuner for MPG

I'm guessing that most people buy tuners for more power. But has anyone also seen an increase in MPG after flashing their PSD? My '03' 6.0 is completely stock and has 90k miles on it with 4:10 gears. I'm looking for the best MPG during the week and a strong low end towing tune for the weekend.

SCT is gonna be your best bet.... but you will need to upgrade a few more things like your exhaust and a set of gauges

Ya Jack I got a Superchip 1705 But thats only for the 7.3 but i have noticed a increased in mpg but Raul is pretty sharp on his info I do know that superchip might be a bit cheaper. Hey raul i got a q for ya! My buddy did a foil delete on his 7.3 and i want to do it to mine but my air intake tube is right above that pretty much and i didnt know if that foil reduces the heat or just noise. I guess what i am concerned about is the fact if it got hot i dont want it to burn a hole in the tube and dust my motor.

Thanks guys. With diesel fast approaching $4 per gallon I'm willing to try anything to pickup some MPG. I'll let you guys know what I go with.

With DJ's Street tune (and being able to keep out of it!) I was able to get almost 4 more mpg on the highway (21mpg)! The economy tune was right around 2mpg gain.

With today's prices I'll take 2mpg more and I'd be thrilled with 4mpg more. I'm new to the tuning world. How can I contact DJ?

with my sct my highway mpg is outstanding, even if i'm not drivin like a grandpa. lol. city its hard to tell since i usually tow. i dont use an ecomony tune either, maybe i should start?...

there are alot of other dealers/tuners besides dj's. i thought dj's was great though.

I know everyone loves the sct, but I have a hypertech max energy and can get 25mpg on the highway if I can set cruise at 72mph. My SCT got around 20 at best at same speeds...

You will be fine its for sound deadening purposes
