NAPA part number for block heater cord?
Searched all over the board for this...
Trying to find myself a block heater cord and noticed a few folks on there said NAPA usually had them. I stopped at the local store earlier on lunch and the guy claimed the didn't carry them. Anyways, I was hoping one of you might have the PN handy for it so I can give it to the guy behind the desk. Hoping they'll have one since it's supposed to get rather chilly around here soon. If they don't have it, I'll hit up the local International dealer for it. By the way, what is the PN for the cord at the International dealers? Thanks in advance!!! |

Thanks to all three of you for the quick response. Clay, I noticed that thread, but if I'm not mistaken, someone on page three mentioned that the PN listed was no longer valid. That's why I decided to post up regarding the NAPA number.
But....looks like I won't need one after all!!!!! ![]() Went out to the truck while at work to see if I could find the factory one. Sure enough, tucked up behind the passenger side tow hook and fog light was a plug. Even has the nice weather proof cover/housing too boot!! ![]() Couldn't trace the wire all the way back to the plug over the starter, but I'm pretty sure it's what I need. Just from a quick glance I can see an orange wire coming down from above the starter, but without popping the hood, or getting under the truck (which is hard to do in khaki pants and a button up ), I'm not 100% certain. But, when I get home, I'll double check to see what I can find.I'll post up a quick pic of it a little later this evening as well. Thanks again!!! |

NAPA does not list a heater cords for the 6.0 powerstroke by application. you have to have them get into their balkamp engine heater books and start at page 28 and try to match them up... NAPA associate Nick

I found these on line at napaonline.com BK 6053244 5 Foot long,BK 6059710 70.5" Long
Then there was a locking plastic style # BK 6051508 75" long around 27.00 the others were around 60.00 on the site. You need the "screw on style" I just put one on today from a international truck after market. Friend gave it to me so price was perfect. Was a curved style and i pointed it down toward starter ran along frame out to front perfect. Easy to install. I was suprised. |
