Zoodad Mod

What is this zoodad mod I hear about so much? What does it involve and what is the benefit? Pictures would be greta.

Just an idea.... if you cut a large hole, and then use a screen. Why not just cut/drill many small holes in the stock plastic vs cutting it out. then you don't need a screen/mesh. and you can control how many holes, location, pattern and diameter. Essentially does the same job right?

Here is a great link to several versions on a 6.0..
zoodad mod

The Zoodad helps to reduce EGT's slightly and supposedly possibly increase fuel mileage and power b/c of the free flowing air into the intake.

I'm going to drill holes in the plastic to help open it up. While I'm there I'm going to install a BUG SCREEN Behind the grille!! lol. Keep critters and dbere from messing up the fins on all that stuff.
