Headlight question

So I noticed that my headlights are plenty bright, when I flip the high beams on they dont seem to be as bright. I would like some more light when I am on the dark country roads, or just need more light. Would my truck being lifted make a difference on high beam? Also I dont use my fog lights so I was thinking about getting silverstars, HID's or taking them out and getting a 20" LED bar in there. I dont have a ton of money to spend. I can get the HID kit for $50ish, silverstars are like 30-40 and I know Rigid has the bar but I can not afford that at the moment.

Any ideas or thoughts would be great!

dont pay retail for headlight bulbs. check amazon and ebay for your silverstars if you decide to go with them. ive got them in my dodge stealth and like them.

Iv got a 30" Rigid LED bar on the front of my truck, its super bright and projects really far, its great for where i am at in Kodiak. i would highly recommend if you can find one for a good price, i bought mine off of Amazon for round 600...got really good deal. as for the headlights id like some input on HIDs also. thinking of doing some myself. got a great looking set of rides DEVER!

Paul, do you have fog lights? I'm running SilverStars in both the headlights and fogs. I don't if your truck does it or not, but mine turns off the fogs when going to HB. So, with the headlights on HB and the fogs off, it seems there's less light....for me anyway.

Search "Hi beam mod". This lets you have high beams on with the fogs

Darryl, yeah I have fog lights, but never use them. It seems like my HID's are not as bright when I hit the high beams.

I have HID headlights, but when I hit the high beam they dont seem as bright. Thanks I love that little mustang

And they never will be man- sorry to say it. If ur gunna run HIDs you need to run them in projectors, not in a reflector housing. Check my link in my sig for more info
