I may get a tune from Vivian. My buddy over here in Gonzales, LA, Coy at Coy's Diesel, got me a couple of tunes form her a while back. The loony tune was awesome except it made my fuelpressure drop like a sack of bricks when I got on it. Not sure if it was due to my 190cc injectors or what the problem was but Coy said he never saw that happen. I have a FASS with regulated return with boost reference. My psi is set at 58. ?????? what hapened. I don;lt have that tune anymore, but I may get Coy to get another tune from her and try it. I really want a little more aggressive low end tune. I think the Eric tunes are canned by him and you get little adjustment. Just my opinion based on nothing.

I know you're using a FASS, but does it use the OEM frame mounted pump? If so, it could be going south. I started to see low psi on the loud pedal and believe it's that fuel pump.

Karl, I am not 100% sure. Do you mean the frame mount pump to feed the FASS from the tank??

How ever it fits in there. The HFCM on left frame rail, it contains the filter, water seperator, and fuel pump that moves fuel to top of motor.

I cant remember how my FASS works cause I installed it 6 years ago. WHy does it still use that stock pump? Is it because the stock pump still pulls the fuel from the tank and feeds it to the fass? I want to say that is what I remember. What is the solutin to eliminate it altogether? DO I have to go into the tank and begin with the pickup tube and fab a new one and run the system from there to the fass and dos the fass pull form the tank well?

Easy Killer. It was just an idea, I don't know exactly how that system works. I know a sump/bulk head fitting couldn't hurt to get fuel to the pump. I'm thinking about doing a bulk head fitting to my truck to ease the load on the pump.
Like I said, unless it does it with your IDP tune, I wouldn't sweat it, could just be tune related. |

Pm pizza pig he has non vgt tunes figured out, he uses the tow haul button for what your looking for. I don't believe it's a torque converter unlock IIRC it holds thd tranny in 5th. I saw it in another thread but can't remember which one.
